Nick and others he is in touch with can offer programmes for parishes, groups etc. These can range from a one hour session to a day or even weekends.
The approach taken in almost all of these is experiential, focussing not so much on input but upon offering ‘spiritual exercises’ and space for reflection and prayer. The intention is to avoid the pitfalls of ‘talking about’ and so to enable people to engage more deeply with God and themselves.
Some of the topics that have been covered include
- Advent - being bearers of Christ
- Activity & Passivity - balancing ministry with contemplation
